Children's Festival 2009

The Frederick Alliance for Youth participated in the Children's Festival on Saturday, April 25th.  The weather was beautiful and the crowd was large!  We were able to use our buses to transport families from the Hillcrest area to Baker Park for the festival.  We also managed an exhibit that highlighted cultures around the world and how they use weaving skills.  The kids got to try their hands at paper weaving after learning about various techniques and coloring materials.
